Cliff Grainger – Digital Strategy Architect & WordPress Solutions Developer
For more than two decades I’ve been helping organisations make better decisions, adopt high-impact digital tools, and build web platforms that actually support how they operate. My background includes senior leadership roles, operational planning, data analysis, and a broad portfolio of work across web development, e-commerce, marketing strategy, and emerging AI technologies.
I now work independently with a small number of clients who value direct, expert support without the overhead of an agency.
I’m a Digital Strategy Architect and WordPress Solutions Developer with a background that’s a little different to most in the industry. Before moving into the digital world, I served as a Senior Police Officer in the UK. In that environment, clarity, leadership, operational precision, and accountability aren’t optional — they’re the baseline. Those same principles now underpin the work I do with businesses today.
Mistakes happen. It’s how you respond that matters. I specialise in helping SMEs cut through the noise and build digital systems that actually support how they operate. Not vanity websites. Not marketing fluff. Practical, efficient, scalable digital infrastructure that improves performance and reduces friction.
I am creative, constantly looking for new solutions to problems. Expect candour. My work spans strategic planning, high-performance WordPress development, custom plugin creation, automation, and modern AI-driven solutions that make organisations leaner, smarter, and more resilient.
I even worked with Google under their Trusted Photographers programme, reinforcing my understanding of visibility, digital trust, and online performance. Google Ads, SEO, Local SEO and social media were foundational tools. Trained by some of the best photographers, strategic leaders and marketers in business I am generous with sharing all that I have.
I’m selective about the projects I take on. I focus on long-term value, structured problem-solving, and creating digital systems that stand the test of time. My approach is straightforward: get to the root of the challenge, build intelligently, and deliver outcomes that matter. Honest and frank I get results.

I live in Staffordshire with my wife Alison and our two Golden Retrievers.
