[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]Mary Ann Evans Hospice is a small independent hospice based in Nuneaton in the grounds of the George Eliot Hospital and is supported by their Warwickshire based shops and a small army of committed volunteers.
I was asked by the Head of Fundraising and Marketing to support his marketing efforts by adding a custom virtual tour of both the hospice and the charity shops. Here is the result which will be published on the website soon.
We have brought together all 6 locations into one virtual tour and added fast navigation to jump into each of them quickly and easily. You can browse the second-hand books in Books Revisited in Coleshill then jump to the Hospice Activity Room or Gardens in split second. Remember these are interactive 360º tours so you can really see what these have to offer.
We have also added some buttons and tourcards which allow visitors to interact with the tour and discover more about the business. There are even donation buttons which will enable you to open the charity Just Giving page and quickly support their fine work. We even have analytics account recording information about visitors and where they click.
We have a couple of new shops to add in June 2015 when they are open and further interactivity will be added going forward as new features become available.
For businesses there are several advantages to the custom virtual tour. Apart from providing potential customers/visitors with a practical tool to familiarise themselves with business facilities, products and location we know people dwell on the website longer. Using Google Analytics we are able to track visits, demographics and behaviour within the tour which can be useful information for marketing and does of course have search ranking value.
